Right now i just have my tv on a cedar chest, which works fine, except since i cant put my cable box on the cedar chest (since it has the tv and the 360 on it already), sometimes i have to careen the controller around to get it to reach the cable box. Just hard to justify spending this much damn money on a stand since I could think of a million better ways to spend 230 bucks

edit: tv is 40" LCD btw. And i dont want to wall mount...dont want holes in the wall

Here\'s a nice inexpensive one.  It\'s hard to find them in black but I got lucky and found this one.

i forgot about IKEA,..i\'d definitely check them out...you can find some things in there that you won\'t find anywhere else.
