(CNN) -- Police are at a Sen. Hillary Clinton\'s campaign office in New Hampshire to address what CNN affiliates are reporting as a hostage situation.

The affiliates said the incident began about 1 p.m. at the headquarters in Rochester.

WCVB-TV in Boston said it is unclear how many people were being held.

WMUR in New Hampshire said the hostage-taker was an armed man.

The WMUR Web site said a witness, Lettie Tzizik, told the station she spoke to a woman shortly after she was released from the office by the hostage-taker.

I\'ve read that this cat has had issues with alcohol and drug abuse,....what he apparently was pissed about was that he needed mental help and that he didn\'t have the money to receive it.....he stated that he was also upset at the state of healthcare in this country,....which is true, it really is bad, but he went about it completely the wrong way,....anybody who does somethin\' like this tho, is a bit touched from the jump.

Now he\'ll probably be charged with terroristic threats, kidnapping and other serious charges,....heard he also told his son to watch the news before the event happened, so apparently he\'s not as crazy as he seems since he planned and thought it out, which come sentencing, is going to bury him even further. He\'s not gonna get any time reduced for releasin\' his captives either, because he shouldn\'t have done it in the first place.
