This has been a very contentious issue in recent years (heck, even in the past few months.)
Personally, as you all remember from my last post, I do not care for either candidate, but I cannot vote for someone in support of net neutrality, it will ruin the internet. Why are we trying to fix something that isn\'t broken. Has anyone in the US ever been unable to visit a site because of their ISP? Not that I can recall. With that being said, Barack Obama is a huge supporter of net neutrality. My suspicions of him being a Socialist are slowly being confirmed. He\'s got his followers all behind this and it seems like their ready to hand over the internet to the government in an effort to save themselves from big business.
What wrong has your ISP committed against you that you would want to do this? Fear that they may in the future block you from going to Google? Gee, I wonder who started that rumor. People need to be made aware of what they are agreeing to when they say they\'re in favor of net neutrality - it\'s really anything but. All your doing is taking power away from Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner, etc. and giving it to the government. Granted, we may not have the best relationship with our ISP\'s when it comes to service and support, but that\'s not the issue here, the issue is content, and they have never deprived you of content, so why would they start now? Do we really want to slow down development of the internet? That\'s where net neutrality is heading, and it\'s bad!
