it\'s rare for me to get into these types of games. monthly fees to play a game has always turned me off from trying them out.

ill wait for mass effect 2

I am out of the MMO genre. I have given 7 years of my life to Everquest, in which 3 years I was guild leader of a raiding guild. I then moved to WoW beta/Live and spent 2 years into a raiding guild again.

These games are simply too good, too addictive. The companies will make everything to make sure you have to log on daily and keep you mindlessly grinding so they can receive your monthly fee. (hello raiding, hello honor system!)

Anyway, it feels really good now to actually buy a game, complete it! and sell it back (or keep it, depends on the replay value)
can\'t see why not!

Were you reading the comments on the story or something?

That very much looks like a gamespot.com user comment.

I\'d stick with Warhammer. Everything about that game is as good as you can get in an MMORPG.
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I\'ve already voiced my displeasure over the fact its turning into an MMO.  I guess i\'ll wait until its out to see if its worth checking out.
Wrong. There are two other people who can.

Warhammer is good, no doubt.

But this is Bioware.

I\'ve absolutly loved every game they have ever made, and Baldur\'s Gate 1 and 2 are my favorite games of all time.

My favorite developer, taking one of my favorite franchises, and making one of my favorite types of games out of it?

Everyone thought the same thing about WoW too.

I guess its huge popularity goes to show for something but I always thought the game sucked, especially compared to the peak of Dark Age of Camelot.

Omg everyone\'s away message is going to say "may the force be with you".

I loved WOW. Still think the game itself is fantastic... It\'s just the playerbase that keeps me away.

And the fact that you need 6 hours and like 30 people to do anything cool.

I dont have that much time, or that many friends.

Anything over 16 for a raid is too much. I\'d like to think 8 people working together and actively paying attention to their job...should be enough for most raids. Throwing numbers at something is no fun.
