So many villains are based on him.

Final Crisis is boring and confusing.

What part is confusing? Maybe I can help shed some light.

 I thought the story was intentionally written in a mysterious and vague way btw. Unlike Secret Invasion...which is nothing but fighting and bad one liners.

Secret Invasion is just bad.


And you know I love Grant Morrison.


I think my overall problem is just a lack of knowledge about the DC Universe really. The only DC book I read is Batman, so I was kinda unprepared for final crisis.

Couple notes.

The dawn of the 5th world is the central focus of the story. The 4th world consisted of "new gods" from Apokolips and New Genesis. They all died and went to heaven save for Orion who died in the first issue anyway. Darkseid=Evil God, fell from the heavens after defeating New Genesis (in "heaven"), hence the term "evil won". leader of the Evil Gods of Apokolips such as Granny Goodness and Kalibak. His fall is apparently causing the multiverse to "bleed" or corrupt hence the Crisis.

Simple stuff imo.

Should read all the Seven Soldiers series too. Mostly because they\'re awesome cuz Grant wrote them but the Mister Miracle series is like the prequel to this.

See that\'s just too much for me... I\'ll keep reading it, but sheesh.

Not really a big super hero comics guy.



I love the walking dead and sandman.



Although I\'m halfway through all star superman and really like that.
