Worlds Tallest Cities...
« on: February 07, 2009, 03:40:09 AM »
Interesting article.....and even tho New York City is still no.1...(chea!! brooklyn stand up!)...:fro:...i was more amazed at how other countries skylines are more modern than ours..(go check out the pics)...China\'s skyline looks like something outta the jetsons and Dubai\'s skyline, when they actually finish what they are doing over there, is going to be absolutely ultra modern...i\'ve posted a thread about how ultra modern and radical their building designs are.

Other cities that looked decent were Hong Kong & possibly Chi-town....to be fair to the u.s. tho....we built up our cities waaay before these other up and coming countries, so our cities are always going to look a bit dated.

Clips, look at this. 12 of the world\'s coolest buildings: http://www.travelandleisure.com/slideshows/worlds-coolest-buildings

The donut shaped one in China is probably my fave, but there\'s a few crazy ones in there.

It\'s one of my favorites too.  I cringed a little when I heard it caught on fire.  Luckily it seems like the "impressive" part wasn\'t severely damaged.
