EA studio Redwood Shores has confirmed that a new Dead Space will be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC at some point in the future.

Glen Schofield, general manager of EA\'s Redwood Shores studio in San Francisco, let it slip that the studio is not only working on Dead Space Extraction for the Wii, but that a PS3/360/PC sequel is also in the works.

Schofield told Gamesindustry.biz:

"We haven\'t announced anything yet, but I don\'t think you take a game that\'s rated 89 and just go, \'Well, that was a failure\'.

"And you know what, we\'ll figure that out, because the hardest thing is the quality. If you figure out the quality, then at some point we\'re going to figure out how to get that out there."

In the same interview, Schofield argued that the games industry needs to rethink its release date strategies.

I have still to get the first one.  It\'s very good.

Do yourself a favor and get this game...it\'s the best sci-fi horror game created...period. The graphics are incredible and the production values are off the charts. You truly feel like you\'re aboard a space cruiser and the tight and dark corridors and dead bodies thrown all over the place give this game excellent atmosphere. There are moments of ambience tense atmosphere, but this game fully recognizes that it\'s a "boo" in your face type scares, but it implements it really well.

I\'m really shocked the game didn\'t sell better than it did, because what\'s seen here is truly AAA quality....i cannot wait for the 2nd game.

Thanks clips !  I will try do get it after RE5 and SF4.  too many great games...
