people are giving a lot of love for this game (almost seems more out of blind spite of MW2 more than actually liking the game)

but I just couldnt get into the beta. On offense, it felt like I wasnt really helping the team even though I was killing people and planting an occasional bomb. And on defense it felt like no matter how many people I killed or stopped people from planting a bomb, eventually the offense would win. At least in BF2 you felt like you were directly helping the team win by either killing people or taking/protecting flags

Killing people didnt have any meat to it and dieing you just fall over randomly. hard to explain.

had a lot more fun on the 360 demo for some reason. Not sure if they tweeked something or what, but both games I played, the defense won (which seemed impossible on the ps3 beta).

Havent tried flying any vehicles, but that was never my thing in battlefield games..i\'d get cussed out every time i flew a helo in bf2,lol.

i love the chaotic atmosphere and sounds of the game but I still dont think ill drop 60 bucks on it.

I downloaded the demo on 360 and it was ok. I haven\'t played a console fps in years and I don\'t think I will again any time soon. If I do get this it will be for PC as I just can\'t play this type of game after playing them on PC for so long.

I loved BF2 several years ago and I\'m looking forward to BF3 so I might skip BC2 and wait. I go through phases where FPS games are all I play, then I won\'t play one for 6 months until the next great FPS comes out. I\'m getting close to that point with MW2 and might take a break until BF3 comes out.

When does BF3 come out again?

too long. I think it wouldve been announced by now if it was coming out in 2010. and I thought I heard 2011 somewhere, which means it could end up being 2012..which also means ill need a new PC to run it

I ended up getting this today. I\'m really liking the online, even more than I like modern warfare (might just be since its the first day, but I think it\'s a more balanced game with the different classes/vehicles).

Definitely had to separate the game from BF2 though as far as im concerned since that is probably my favorite FPS of all time. It\'s more, a different game with the same general idea that happens to have the same name, moreso than a sequel

(like rainbow six: vegas).
