anyone played this game?

it\'s still in alpha stage, but I think they are intending to go to beta soon, with a full release at some point in the game.

I think they are doing a free play period while the site is overloaded with traffic, not sure if it\'s still available as a free download anymore though..

the premise of the game is to survive in a world of zombie cactus\', skeletons and other "mobs" that spawn at night, and in dark caves & tunnels. there is no ultimate goal other than just dig, find resources and expand your base. the offline mode plays pretty good, but the online mode is bugged to fuck (well it\'s to be expected as it\'s still alpha)

don\'t expect AAA graphics, or even AA or A, this game blows graphics wise, but the addiction is in the gameplay. one good thing, is that due to the nature of the graphics, you don\'t need a top spec pc to run it, even my 8 year old piece of shit runs it.

I downloaded it last week aand I have been neglecting my PS3 because of it.

I dont know how low I can go to accept bad graphic. I mean, I watched the 1st trailer and the gamepaly looks just as blocky as the graphic. It\'s squared everywhere.

Is it actually cool or can you get immersed enought to overlook the graphic?!

as I already said, don\'t expect to be blown away by the graphics, it\'s about as basic as it gets in the GFX department. if you are hooked on games purely based on the quality of graphics, this game isn\'t for you.

all I can say is that I got it after reading recommendations of other players and after reading reviews, and I have been spending most of my PC time playing it. I just finished an hour long session a few minutes ago.

I find it completely easy to get lost in the game, and have lost track of time on more than one occasion.

just view videos and read the player reviews that are dotted around the internet, more people are raving about it than are complaining about bad graphics.

the end decision is yours as to whether you want to play it, if you are not sold on it because of the graphics, that is fine. I would still have a look to see if the "free to try" period is still in effect though while he sorts out his server issues, you might be able to get to play it for a few days for free.
