I dont really get how that would work. Cutscenes are just the glue that make what you do in the game come together to make a story...take out the moments of gameplay and it\'s just fragments of the story.

I could definitly see them making a CG movie like that and having it be just as entertaining as a movie with real actors..granted it probably wouldnt do well in the theater but it could do well if it goes straight to blu ray. If THATs what kotick is saying, then I could see that working.

But that guy is the skeeziest business person in the video game industry, at least that\'s a public figure. so anything this guy does has to be taken with the assumption that hes out for his wallet and is willing to fuck over the customers to get it

Yeah..that trailer was incredible.....i would pay to see a full fledged movie of that post-apocolyptic setting....everybody got that a$$ waxed....

The impression i\'m getting is that this guy wants to put all of the cutscenes together and to make a movie from them...meaning the cutscenes that are already in the game, mush them together and make a movie...thing is games like metal gear and others already have a similar option once you finish the game...now these idiotic ceo\'s want to charge you for something that is already free and a somewhat crucial part of the game itself?


Like you said, i\'m not sure if he wants to take the cutscenes out of the games completely and then sell them to you or if he is already taking the cutscenes from established games and then selling them to you...either way the idea is idiotic.

as soon as I saw the word "activision" I had an idea what was coming.

people are actively avoiding the modern warfare games because of this douche.  He credits the record profits and high xbox live subscriber rate to modern warfare 2, he wants microsoft to give them a cut of subscription fees, as he believes people only buy live to play their games.

He\'s a little full of himself and is totally out of touch with reality.
