Here is what I don\'t get. You would much rather wish for DC games on the PS2, then actually go out and buy a DC. How does this make sense?
And Sega is not porting anything onto the PS2. Sega held a press conference not to long ago to put that to rest. They did admit to being interested in GBA and the original PS. But, there was no set projects for that. And now they bought FamilyWonders Inc and inked a deal with Namco, so they really won\'t need the extra money from porting their franchises to another system. Not to mention, it would be shooting themselves in the foot, by porting their franchises to another system. The rumour of Aclaim porting Sega games has been going on for quite awhile. But its just that..A rumour. Until the first game is announced, don\'t believe it. And no game has been announced to be ported, and no, not even 18 Wheeler. If IGN reported it, it was pure speculation. Don\'t you think every SEGA site would of covered this? Yes, they would of. And none did. Not even non-Sega sites like CoreMagazine or GameFan.com reported this. If you want details on it all, go to SegaDome and look thru the news arhcive. There is pretty much all news related to the PS2 ports and such. Which includes the many press releases and conferences that has been held about the matter. Including the one where the president of Sega announced he had cancer, and it was mentioned they was interested in GBA development.
Now seriously, back to one other point. They inked a deal to development for Motorola\'s new mobile phone. Bought Family Wonders Inc. and inked a deal with Namco. DO you think they need to port games to the PS2? I think not.
I find it ironic, that some of you won\'t admit that MGS2 may very well be going to the Xbox.. But the first rumour comes around about DC games on the PS2 and its a "fact" despite Sega denoucning the whole ordeal. Unlike Konami, which just won\'t comment on if MGS2 is Xbox bound also.
