So long Wii

Nintendo announced they are ceasing production of the Wii. So far it seems its ended in Japan with other countries ending production soon. First console of the generation and the first to go. They definitely took this generation with this console. Its sad to see the Wii U struggling so bad.

Worst Nintendo system of all time. RIP though. The Mario Galaxy games were elite, Virtual Console was pretty enjoyable, didn't do much else.

Nintendo just doesn't release enough exclusive games that I want to buy a system for anymore. If they had that RE4 quality exclusive every year then that would be a huge bonus.

Have to agree for the most part. I never bought it because there weren't enough exclusive games and anything that was cross platform I would buy on a more powerful console or my computer. The console was great for the casual gamer that throws in a video game every now and then and for families. Most people I knew that had a Wii, usually just played Wii Sports and a couple Mario and Zelda games. My gamer friends that had one would play any other games on their PS3s or Xboxes.
