My PS4 shuts off automatically

I have only digital games
I used to play games and never had a problem till last week.
My PS4 began to shut off by itself when playing games after about 5 minutes.
Even i can use it for everything else as I can use YouTube play movies play dvd play music everything but games.
I don't have blueray games to tryout what gonna happen.
I tried to notice what is really happening i found that when i start a game the fan begin to be louder and louder till ps4 freeze then shut off
Also the air coming from the fan is cold
I think there is a problem with thermal paste
Unfortunately my ps4 is out of warranty

Hey. Welcome. Unfortunately, like I said at the other forum, sounds like a hardware issue. Can't really say for sure what it is because with computer tech, it could be a number of things. Maybe try borrowing a friends disc game or going to GameStop and getting a cheap game to test if its games locking up the console. If its the games, likely some kind of software issue but also, could be a hardware issue when the console is under load. Worth a try.
