Depends on the bar you go to. A hip and happening bar people go to party, not really. But your local dive bar yes. Local bars tend to have the same people come in and they generally aren't as busy as the party bars that are down the street from me. The dive bar I used to go to I became very friendly with the bartenders. One was actually my real estate agent when I was looking for homes. Dive bars tend to be little local social clubs where all the drunks congregate and bull shit with each other. And the one I went to who you were didn't matter. We were all friends there and all talked to each other. Race, age, gender, it didn't matter. We were a community. Shame that place closed
