Better yet, get yourself a Dreamcast and play the REAL version of the game, either that or some Vaseline.

Do not worry about yesterday, because it is history.
Do not worry about the future, because it is a mystery.
Enjoy today to the fullest, because it is a gift.

I want to hear the reasoning behind the thought that the Dreamcast version is the real version? The PS2 version from my understanding has more in it than the DC version so thus it would be considered to be more like what they orignaly intended it to be.

oh boy here we go again. I have a feeling we are going to be seeing alot of games like doa2 hardcore. add a little to the name and a few bells and whistles and ship it off to the next system. but if you have the dreamcast version is the ps2 version worth it ?

Sure is. I have DOA2 and DOA2 LE on DC.. I would get the PS2 version straight away.. Has more levels.. More moves etc. More effects. Its worth it.. If it was just a port i wouldn\'t. But the whole game has had a rehall.

Personally I found DOA2 on Dreamcast to be a pretty shallow game, if the Playstation version has more levels, costumes and such then it may well be the better buy. Perhaps I should have elaborated on what I meant by \'REAL\', I was some what comparing the superior graphics (textures, lack of aliasing) of the Dreamcast version to the Playstation 2 version.

But as I said if the Playstation 2 version offers more for your buck then I say go for it, it\'s not like there\'s a huge graphical difference between the two, at a distance they are nearly indistinguishable.

Trin, what makes you so sure that the DC version is the real version?  The PS2 version is better in every way...

Trin, you must be referring to the japaneese doa 2 for ps2, as the american version is way better looking than the dreamcast  version. Better lighting higher poly count, and yes the aliasing issues were solved.

The CG mode is a 3-page collection of pictures of all the DoA2 girls.  Some are plain-drawn art work, while some are rendered CG pictures.  It\'s pretty cool.
I don\'t know how I got it though.  Just play the game a lot, and play through the modes with all the characters a few times.  That should unlock it.
