Who does or does not like the new icons.

I figure its the people that make the board. Not the icon. Its sort of like when the board was changed from UBB to VBB. Took alittle getting used to. NO big deal now though. The icons won\'t be a big deal soon either. Just another function, for those who choose to use it.

I never said people will abuse them, but you would be silly to think that they won\'t. Some people (I won\'t give any names, but they are notorious for tdoingthis) will just have the smilie from the message icon and then put N/T for their message and wa la a new form of spamming the forum.

I know this forum is different from everywhere else, that is why I vote we do away with them, I think they are just annoying and take up even more space for my poor ole 56k to load up pages. Let\'s just say, I will be taking a silent stnad and never use a message icon in ANY of my posts or threads.

have your Cache enabled. That way u have the icons on your com already.. You should have them now anyway.. There not huge man.

I hardly think I qualify for being a newbie and I say leave them on - but then again, I don\'t have to use a modem. But if they\'re in your cache (and being as small as they are) I don\'t think they\'ll take long to load. But I guess it\'s a mood point.

I counted six that don\'t really like them, including Dolby, and not counting those that were indifferent. I demand a recount. The ballot was misleading, what about dimpled chads, and hanging chads? Are those counted? Recount! Recount!

lol Aaron. take 2 off 19 = 17.. Add 2 too 4 = 6.. Doesn\'t make any difference son. They still stay on. I didn\'t count people that said they hate them, But don\'t really care for them. I only counted the people that said they HATE them and can\'t stand them, Aswell as the people that said they want them too stay.. On 4 people said get rid of them.

They\'re nice and nothing bad. Keep them.
