A bit long winded, but I give my reasons for my choices...

System:
1-XB (I like black systems, the \'x\' looks cool, and like PS2, it fits in any entertainment center, look wise. Unfortunatly, a bit boxy)
2-DC (It\'s nice and small, edges curved enough that it doesn\'t look too boxy, unfortunatly, its white-ish color and top loading style keep it looking too toyish)
3-PS2/GC (black or silver) (PS2-Best colors, Black n blue are sweet looking, vertical option, definitly looks neat too, unfortunatly, looking at it from the side w/ the cd tray, it\'s a little ugly, with its one unsymetrical side. Also a bit boxy looking from the front. GC- Way to boxy, has a stupid ass handle, but its small size, and the 2 sleek colors I would choose, it looks a little neat, if the handle is removable, boxy-ness is the only huge problem)
4-Indrema (Like DC, only too long, and unsymetrical. Also, the hobbiest market that is the systems only hope, probably doesn\'t care if it looks cool in a entertainment center)
5-GC (any other color) (Ugggh! A colorful little ugly box. No thanks)

Controller:
1-XB (without having used it yet, it *looks* comfortable, and combines the best features of the other controllers)
2-PS2 (Analog is a little too loose for me, and the left anolog isn\'t even with the action buttons, but other than that, perfect)
3-DC (great once you get used to it, but not curved enough handles make it a bit uncomfortable)
4-GC (maybe it\'ll be great, maybe it wont, unlike XB, i just cant decide w/o trying it.)
5-Indrema (havent seen the damn things)

1.PS2-I just cant forget it standing in the glass on its vertical position.Futuristic
3.Silver GC-Reminds me of Star Trek/Wars gadgets.A well fururistic
2.DC-Looks like a console and can be easily understood it is indeed a console
4.lunchBox-my childhood years how can I ever forget them?
5.Purble GC-I just cant let a Nintendo console mix my childhood with the present.
6.my Toaster-fits perfectly with the kitchen
7.XBOX-I would not pay for a $300 console and accidentaly put my toasts in it for mistaking it with my toaster.

Why hasnt anyone mentioned N64? It is much more comfortable than the dual shock 2. Yes it is bulky and not pretty to look at, but the damn thing is comfortable as hell
(and easy to use)
