Sonys Online Strategy

Does anyone think that it will launch this year. With Dc being a success online so far, and xbox launching with ethernet. At what cost will it be for us. Both modem and broadband.

Sony Australia outlined that they plan to launch internet/online gaming this year in australia. Which would be nice since dreamcast has not gone online yet in our neck of the woods :(
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

I beg to differ, IMO I think that the HDD and ethernet connection will both be launched about one month before XB release, and if you think about it I\'m probably right about that.

It HAS TOO launch this year!! With two *other* consoles coming this fall/winter, Sony has to flood the market with as much "reason" to get a PS2 as they can.

--Killer games.
--Internet.
--Hard drive.
--Other neato periphials.

They have to make the consumer go "WOW look at all the goodies the PS2 has.... And those *other* consoles just have a couple games".

It\'s obvious to all by now that Sony wants the PS2 to appeal to everyone. Gamers, internet geeks, movie buffs, etc.

That\'s what I would do anyway:)
