mgs 2 : sol solid snakes last dance ?

well it has been reported that the metal gear series is to conclude with sons of liberty. Do you think we have seen the last of snake ? I highly doubt it. In my opinion he will be back in some sort of adventure unrelated to the metal gears. At least I am hoping that is what they meant.
Just remember though if it is truly the last we see of snake at least he went out at the top of his game.......

hey metal gear ray, I would have never guessed in a million years you were a big fan of the series.
Seriously though i was wondering if you guys think we will see snake in some sort of other adventure, kind of liike all they said the tomb raider series was dead, but we are still getting the adventures of lara croft... see what i mean. Maybe the next game will be like snake gets a job as security guard to keep from getting bored in his retirement. Then he would stumble upon some huge drug deal going down at the docks where he works. The police not wanting to believe the imaginings of a senile old man dismiss his claims with a "sure you saw that pops"
Ans once again snake will put on his stealt suit and go to work to bring down the corrupt drug syndicate.
I hope otacon made a stealth set of depends too!!!

I dont like the idea of "another adventure" remember snake\'s revenge it was bad

I dont think that this news is all bad, I certainly wouldnt want to see the series stretched out and bastardised just to make money when it can be laid to rest with dignity (Core paying attention perhaps? doubtful) remember that this will be Kojimas 4/5th Metal Gear game, as great as the series is I think he might like to try something new out.

I think bd has a point here.
Compare it to the James Bond movies; They\'re kinda run
out of Ian Flemmings\' original stories. If Konami would
already plan MGS3 chances are bigger it will become shallow.
Basically the : destroy the mech- unravel the plot premise
could be stretched out to much.
Maybe 5 or more years later MGS will return.

And if the game is as revolutionary and good as hyped ( I sure hope so ) it can clearly be the end of the MGS series... and what a proud end it will be!

I feel a little sad that MGS2 is supposedly the last MGS game. But then again, it would be bad if they ruined the series by pumping out a lot of sequels without any real story. Metal Gear Solid deserves better and I think MGS2 will be a worthy end to the series.

 Mgs2 isnt the last of Solid Snake is HE!Obviously If mgs2 does good wich is no doubt that it will change the video game industry just like the origianal mg.
 After the 2md mg there gonna make another skill improving game like vr missions.
 
 But if Gates take MGS i will assasinate him!
Kojima will not let Mgs series just stop at 2 I mean really
look a the ff series 12 there making I think???

 For the good of the video game industry kojima can not stop making MGS games that would be a major lose fo sony!
