Nintendo only plans to have about 5 games for Japanese release of GC, and E3 is soon after that so will see.
Well we should clarify, Nintendo set 5 as the minimum that NCL will produce. They did not rule out the possibility of more. And again, Capcom said they are trying to be ready for the Japanese launch, possibly others will as well.
Konami is probably a good bet since they support everything like Capcom (Konami was one of the biggest Japanese supporters of the N64), and they also started a joint venture with Nintendo (Mobile 21, mentioned briefly above), which is working on GBA and GC games, as well as ways to connect the 2.
Also E3 is before Nintendo\'s launch. And just like with the PS2, it seems like the American groups are preparing more for the American launch. Just like it would look odd to have Madden at the PS2\'s Japanese launch, a lot of the games above are geared more towards for an American audience.
Demo\'s are allright, but how many games will be playable
I thought we were talking about attracting hype. In that regard, I think we learned last year that a game doesn\'t have to be playable to wow the crowds. People may see more than they\'ll play (I\'m hoping to make it there this year myself), but that doesn\'t mean they won\'t walk away impressed.
