i need to make a website for a school project (i hate school) and i was wondering if you guys can gimme links to good background images or n e ideas for the matter, btw im making it on geocities (mandatory)

if there was n e background pic i would really want it would be a good one based on MGS@ :)

A background pic needs to be very small.  If you do something with MGS, I would suggest making it tiny, and repeating the crap out of it.  A huge pic takes forever to D/L for the little 56k people.  Or you could have a huge silhouette 2 color embossed logo.  That wouldn\'t be too big since it wouldn\'t be too many colors.

To look for backgrounds, just do a yahoo search.  There are also tons of free buttons and animated gifs out there.

hey sprete, are you making it on your comp and uploading or are you making it on the web ?
How many pages are you making it ?
If you need some cool custom buttons or anything i would be happy to make them for you. I have a 3-d program that can make some cool stuff.

if you really wna make easy buttons and banners and all that other stuff go to http://www.flaming text.com/ they will make it for you online within secodns for free, trust me i made sites useing thier stuff before

\'Cause Anna\'s nipples are always popping out and it\'s not uncommon to see up her skirt in those live action photos duh.

I suggest something interactive, not just something to look at.  Try to make up some forms so you can "gather information" or something.  Maybe add a few applets that you can play games on or use a scribble board or some sort of quiz.  Just try and give people something to DO when they go to your site.  

You video game people should be all over that you know....... talking about 3D buttons and backgrounds and stuff, geez have you not learned ANYTHING?!!?  It\'s all about GAMEPLAY not eye candy.

hey darth i haven\'t updated in a while and it appears my forum is now deceased as well, but i am putting up a guest book shortly. I may try to make a vbb forum if i can find a free one somewhere. i just opened up my site now so it should be working.
edit, i fixed my cheesy little message board on the site.
p.s. does anyone know where i can get a forum similar to this that i don\'t have to pay for. Something that works similar  to the free web space sites ( a little pop up banner add is the price i pay for my site)
