why don\'t the just use permiment marker pen on the disks and DVD ?

that why there is little to no added weight on the disk Therefore problem solved !.

We all know that it is a bad design.
But, the fact still remains that when there is no sticker,
there is NO problem (unless you truly have a messed up PS2)

why don\'t blockbuster ask for a deposit when you rent games ?

that way you have to take it back inorder to get your money back ?

but i have to say over here in the uk , Blockbuster is the only video chain that i have seen with PS2 titles for rent ?

if there are other in the UK please tell me .

Seems like some tech support guy told me that Hollywood Video changed their system to support this.  But I don\'t know how far I\'d believe the guy.

its not just "marking" the disk as property of blockbuster.  its the magnetic strip contained in the sticker thats so important.
