Well Metal gear ray, don\'t forget you are assuming, i have held the xbox controller and feels nothing like the dc, nor the hammer head. it\'s better than both of them, i was very pleased when i tried it out at ces2001,  yes it has a dc look to it, but it is no dc controoler.

buttons: SNES (colors and the X, B, A, Y thing)
analog buttons: ps2
2 analog sticks: gamecube
VMU (or whatever ms will call it) : Dc, n64
Triggers: Dc

and I am basing my opinions on the look of the controller, I will make my finall judgement when I got my xbox!

Also if MS stole everything, than sony did the same with the psx.

Controller design = snes
color = snes
analog stick= n64
forecefeedback= n64 rumble pack
buttons = four button placement like snes
side trigers = snes

But really who cares, as long as it benefits us, the gammers. let MS, Nintendo, and Sony worry about that. We play these machines to have fun. I doubt those top exec at any of those companys even play games.

ok well so ms, let me explain.
 the analog  sticks are better than sony no doubt man i have held that cintroller. if you look at the sticks ms have rubber on the top like sony\'s but i used to tell people last yaer that analog sticks need a ingrove on the top of them. Guess what ms finally put in, this alows you for better control and grip. Also they put the 1 analog stick to the top and the second to the bottom, alot better. Now the triggers are from the dc , but ms imporved them they are alot firmer and more effecient, as well as a more sensitive analog device. It\'s built in rumble can perfrom more variations than the psx2. Hence alot more relistic forcefeedback. etc.. Also there is no vmu sort of device for the system. the controller can also have a microphone input inside one of the slots for talking in online gamming, now that is a bonus.

But listen i still like the psx2 contoller, i also like the dc controller and the xbox\'s.
Now i don\'t know about GC\'s i will have to wait, but man nintendo put no rubber on the analogs

OK, here is where I come in:

Is it just me or does not everyone notice that there is absolutely no difference between the X-Box in those pictures.  One is just shot with better lighting.  They are the exact same case.  So I must say, great point ProfessorX.

I will say one thing i am definatley not SEGACULTX.

what ever happened to DOGWIZ, opps I mean docwiz. Now i have seen reverendxbox occasionally at msxbox forums, but he hardly posts there. AS for TheOgodlyThing that guy is way beyond most hardgore gammers levels. I\'ve seen him at some forums talking about technical stuff,like graphic chips and other ****, way to complex for me to repy to.
