Does Videogames.com hate the PS2?

Really though, they gave ATV Off Road racing a 6.7 in an incredibly wierd review where they said the only thing wrong was the AI, and now they give Knockout Kings 2001 a 4.8 in a pittiful half a page 5 minute review that makes me wonder how these guys get full-time jobs as reviewers. Yet both Knockout Kings and ATV Off Road are widely regarded by other sites and people on this board as great games. Videogames.com were also at the forefront of the PS2 bashing when word of the shortage came through as well.

Something to think about.

Tthey Phantasy Star Online an 8 something.

They gave Majora\'s Mask a 8.3.

Don\'t take these guys seriously,they\'ve been giving bad reviews for a long time now,just ignore them.

PSO deserved the score IMO.. its not what its cracked up to be.. i\'d rather play diablo 2, its much better, same gameplay
Zelda, deserved AT LEAST a 9.2

I have no problem with Videogames.com giving games a bad score if they feel they deserve them, but if they do give a game a bad score then they should justify that score. I absolutlely killed Fifa 2001 for the PS2 (and deservedly so), but my Fifa 2001 review was through and in depth. This guy\'s Knockout Kings 2001 review looks like it was written in five minutes - a problem I have with some of Daily Radar\'s reviews as well.

Well i can\'t say they were off to much on ATV - i hsve already bought it and traded it in - for one reason the AI was way too cheap - they will always win - or make it almost impossible to win

ANd Knockout Kings the graphics are horrible for a next gen title - it reminded me way too much of PSX - in fact i could hardly tell the difference and thats bad

so i say they are kinda hard on their reviews but they do have good points - at least thats what i think

maybe Videogames should give up reviewing games if they hate everyone, if you ask me they should move on forget about games and review the latest MADE FOR TV films.

having read there reviws they are biased against .. well everyone, this is a worrying trend and must be stoped.

I played Diablo 2 for 1 month and now it\'s become so laggy even my cable connection pings all the way to Hell.

Most online games suffer from this from time to time, it all depends on the server, infact i play TFC online and the morat server we have to use for CLan Battles is extremly laggy for all to play on Cable or no cable !

I wander how much they gave to The Bouncer.

Man, I thought I was the only one who noticed this! Talk about some tight a***s! Do these guys really know what they\'re talking about? See,this is the problem I have with  some reviewers because you may have one site or magazine give a game an 8 and the other gives it something like a 4. Well wow, you guys really helped me out there. That\'s why sometimes you have to just take a chance. Damn, what games have they rated well for the PS2? Does anybody know? I can\'t wait to see how these guys rate the "showcase" titles this march and beyond.

video games.com does seem kinda harsh in their reviews but hey each to his own right?

yep as they say different strokes for different folks.

but everyone is entitled to their opinion - and check out whay they say about the games - if it is poor excuses or if it is true

frankly sometimes people will review something and not count off enough for the bad stuff because they are biased
