Demand still High ?????

http://www.ubid.com/actn/opn/4095690.asp#prod_desc

Scroll up a little to see the bid list, and the product

UBID has PS2 sales of anywhere between 1 and 60 units daily, and the bids always go over $300

interesting isn\'t it

I was on the internet late last night (3 am) and I saw that ebworld.com had some bundles for sale at $470.00 or something like that. It was just weird to see any ps2\'s for sale. I don\'t know how fast they sold though. I didnt bother to find out.

I don\'t know. I can walk in stores here now though and pick up a PS2. They are always in stock. NO doubt demand is high. I just can\'t figure out why they are paying that much on Ebay / auction sites for them.

yesterday some dimwit on UBID bid $640 there were 60 PS2\'s available and the next highest bid was $460

Unlike Ebay you pay what you bid at these auctions

Scarey thought man. Can find them everywhere where I live--a small KY town, but nowhere in NYC.

Sales probably wont cool down til after March.

Right it\'s also right after their relaunch.  Which means more people will own a PS2, which also less people will need them.

ohh but trust me there are pleanty of people that still need them

think about it - there are a lot of PSX owners that are just waiting for a right time to buy and to them that is the relaunch - and in the big cities aren\'t gonna be easy to find PS2\'s in becuase there the demand is still higher than the shipment - but soon it will probaly be a little easier - u just have to call around and see when people will get their next shipment

what part of NYC you from ? if you want a PS2, call up Electronics Boutique at the Manhattan Mall, every once in awhile to see if we have any in stock..we just had a shipment 2 weeks ago of about 50 systems..sold out in 2-3 days..here is the phone # 1(212)564-4156..i work there so you can ask for me - Tim or stop by..im the ONLY asian guy there that looks like hes 16 [im actually 19]

if you want to buy from US, we ONLY sell it in a bundle [system, 1 extra controller, ANY 2 games of your choice that has been RELEASED, 1 SONY memory card, 2 year warranty [ESA - Extended Service Agreement] and i think a DVD remote..some of the items might change depending on what items we have in stock..the most it will run you with tax is $570..it might be less depending if we have anymore SONY brand controller, and how much the games are

you are right..we STILL havent fulfilled our pre-order list..theres STILL people who pre-ordered the system and havent picked it up yet..thats because we call them up and leave a message if they are not home telling them that the PS2\'s are in and are ready for them to pick it up..if they dont pick it up, we\'ll sell them to walk-ins..thats how business goes
