X-Box will dominate the TGS and E3, hopefully. I really hope they do. We already know what the PS2 can do (look at Baldur\'s Gate: Dark Alliance videos!), now it\'s X-Box and Gamecube\'s turn.

Of course, no matter what any of them do, they won\'t top Dreamcast and SNES.

Ah for God sakes Reverand GROW UP, wipe the droll of your Bill gates poster and go out and get a gilrfriend you sad W**ker !

FFS man , who cares because most people will already either;

A) have already GOT a PS2 and won\'t buy another console for a while

b) Have a PS2 and are thinking to either get another console or upgraded their PC.

c) They don\'t have a PS2 but are getting one.

d) They want a X box and are waiting for that.

e) They want a Nintendo Game Cube and are waiting for that.

f) They are too buzy playing with their PC\'s

g) don\'t even want a console and hate games (so why are they reading this).


FFS man there is not going to be a END to SONY, MicroSOFT or NINTENDO !

for a start
1) Sony have already started to dig in for the launch of the X BOx , and as we know about SONY they are used to long fights in this market (see the demise of the other console for example).

2) Microsoft want a cut of the gaming market , but even though they have "all the money in the world", they have still to establish themselvs , with will be hard but not imposible for them seeing that they are first up agains the PS2 and then the Gamecube.

3) Nintendo will arrivelate, but as we all know they want revenge, but on the other habd buy the time they come on the sceen they will have to face the established PS2 and X BOx, AGAIN NOT A DIFFICULT TASK.

SONY , MICROSOFT and NINTENDO have DIffrent markets to play to.

SONY have there fanbase establised thanks to the PSX
Microsoft will go for the Gen X type gamers
Nintendo have their hard core fans too.

Your still dead wrong anyway. PS2\'s biggest chance to show us their glory is at E3. Everyone knows that. The TGS is nothing when compared to E3,PS2\'s future probably won\'t be decided until then most likely.

I agree with ooseven. Every console has its fanbase; a fanbase that is not shattered easily.

About PS2\'s future. It just CAN\'T fail; not even under the pressure of X-box. All the great games coming.. FFX, GTA3, MGS2, Wipeout Fusion, Dark Cloud, Timesplitters 2.. why ppl forget the good games and jump onto X-box or Gamecube?

Of course there\'ll be wonderful games for Gamecube and X-box also, but I think in the end, the \'war\' is not going to crush any console.

But again, this opinion may be terribly wrong as well. Just look what happened to Dreamcast.

But if we go to dreamcast ( its success does indeed include to this subject about Sony ), I gotta say that it had a serious fanbase. Did it leave sega? Did it leave dreamcast?

Remember Saturn, and its terrible flop. It drove away Sega\'s fans. But now as we speak of Sony. Playstation was no flop. It still sells, and it has sold VERY WELL. Ppl know it. Ppl buy PS2; Sony fans are not driven away because of Playstation. the consequences are opposite.

Every sony-fan knows how good game MGS is. As is Wipeout and Final Fantasy serie. They KNOW that the PS2-sequels will be unbelievable. They buy the console just for those games. Don\'t worry about Reverend\'s ideas, as they\'re troll-like opinions with no good back-up.

If a console is on thin ice, it is x-box. It may have some pc-gamers on its side ( as it will have the most pc-ports ), but it doesn\'t have a fanbase from console-side. Not a serious, trusting, worshipping fanbase. It has of course ppl like Reverend, but I hope, and know, that every X-box fan isn\'t like Reverend. But X-box\'s success will be more connected to the marketing and advertizing, and E3 etc. etc.
