I didn\'t dare start a new thread, thanks to the plethora of GT3 ones already, but have you guys seen the track list already? IGN posted it today...
http://ps2.ign.com/news/31757.htmlI\'m kind of happy, but sort of disappointed. I would\'ve liked to see the return of Special Stage r11 (not sure if I remember the name right, but the longer night track from GT1). What most surprises me is that they\'ve left out Laguna Seca (which is odd since the first replay videos I saw of the game were placed there)! Why?! Why!? Other discarded tracks are Grindelwald, Autumn ring, Pike\'s Peak, High Speed Ring and in the article they speak of Green Forest, where they must be meaning Deep Forest (or is the track\'s name different in different region versions??).
They do have new tracks to contemplate the losses. The most interesting of these seems to be Complex String. I\'ve got no idea what\'s it like, but get this, it\'s over 11.500 kilometres long! Whoah. A sixty lap race there might take a while. And the name promises you can\'t just put the pedal to the medal and storm through.
They also list a Test course, and claim it\'s over 10 kilometres long too, but isn\'t this like the big oval? A typo perhaps, or just a huuuuuuge test course so you can really see what speeds your vehicles are capable of.
