I mean, I didn\'t favor either side too much, I really want stone cold to have the title, and I figured if Angle won he\'d definatly lose it at wrestlemania...

im sorry solid snake but you call way too many people "fag" and you think X-suck kicks a$$.

x-pac might be the worst wrestler in the wwf!

Could this be a face turn for Regal ?

I dont think Regal could get over as a face alone. Now a Regal/Mcmahon feud with Vince as the heel and Regal as the face could work.

[spoiler intensive]

Hardcore Title Match: The Harcore matches are nothing but comical matches nowadays and I don\'t see anything hardcore about it except the tired washed up 24/7 rule.  The ending was predictable and the match itself was just an excuse to get more names into the PPV, nothing more.  It was a funn match, but poorly executed wrestling wise.

6/10

Benoit vs Guerero vs jericho vs x-pac: My dissapointment in this match was the fact that X-pac was involved at all, but much to my joy, he ended up getting his ass beat all the way back to the bottom of the rung which is where he was before he got injured.  His role in this match was just to prolong it and break up counts.  Him getting rolled up was great since I hate him so much... everytime I see him I can\'t help but think "1,2,3 Kid."  On a more positive note, Benoit kicks serious amounts of ass.  This guy deserves to be in the WWF championship competition in some way.  He is probably the most INTENSE wrestler the WWF has and they\'re letting go to waste on Intercontinental titles... lame.  Decent ending though, Jericho is always pretty damn inventive with his moves, especially that tilt a whirl back breaker on benoit.  Superb.

9/10

Trish vs Stephanie: IMO, Trish got what she deserved.  I don\'t care who you are, but Trish\'s chest is WAY too fake to be appreciated.  I loved the hot pants, gratuitous ass shots by the WWF camera crew, but her breasts are far too high on her chest to even be considered real.  I don\'t think she should have lost because of that, I just think she deserved it because if she did become the dominant female, she has absolutely NO mic skills.  Listening to her talk is like watching grass grow with an ear shrieking ***** talking in a bull horn with a lot of feedback.  heh, sorry, rant for the day :)  Anyways, it was a good match and that double front face drop on eachother was pretty damn sweet.  Reagle also acted very nicely for he looked very confused every step of the way.  I like his acting a lot and I hope this elevates him beyond the European title and right on into the continental title rung.

7/10

HHH vs Austin:  What a GREAT match... up until the end.  That was the STUPIDEST ending in WWF history and I gotta give the writers one big fat double middle finger Austin salute for their efforts.  What the hell were they thinking??!!?!  Come on, a fued like that ends with Austin losing by ACCIDENT?!  Personally, I hate run-ins to win matches, but I would have DESPERATELY loved it more if there was on in this case.  This was a travesty and it better be resolved in some fast paced wrestling tonight on Raw.

8/10

King vs Steven Richards:  Face it, King makes a better announcer nowadays then a wrestler.  What was he doing touching Ivory towards the end of the match anyways?  I dunno.  WWF would never have aired full nudity in any case so the winner of this match was easy to predict.  King getting beat up and having to be replaced by Tazz for the rest of the night announcing wise was pretty lame.  Tazz needs to be doing his suplexes of old from his earlier career.  The WWF needs to get him a gimmick... FAST.

6/10

E&C vs Taker and Kane vs Dudley Boys:  Good match.  The ending could have been seen on Raw or a Smackdown, but it was enjoyable to watch.  I wish I could say the Meng and Rikishi rush-in was good, it wasn\'t, but it took Taker and Kane out successfully.  I smell a new storyline...

8/10

Rock vs Angle:  Sweet match.  I expected Rock to win this one, but it was a sweet win.  Rock kicking out of the Olympic Slam was TOTALLY unexpected.  The double rock bottom was VERY nice and showed just how vicious Rocky can be when the win is within reach.  Who else can recall what happened when he fought foley in that "I quit" match?  Very good match and it resolved the whole PPV quite nicely.  Wrestlemania is a big "?" now that Austin lost to HHH, but I cant wait to see what happens in the coming weeks.  Also, Angle crying at the end was fitting, he cries when he wins and cried when he loses... he really is a baby face :)

9/10

Closing comments:  If I see a PPV this good for Wrestlemania, I\'ll be very happy.  However, if the main event turns out to be some lame 4 way or 3 way... i\'ll be pissed.  1 vs 1 is what I want and the fans deserve it.
Don\'t you ever touch my cape.

My god that hardcore match was an extremely awesome and entertaining finale.  It was pretty funny too. Big Show pinned a guy against the wall, hilarious. Austin coming to save Rock...how unpredictable.
