I hope they can make it different from Midway\'s NBA Jam/Showtime/Hoopz which is getting kind of boring now.

Have you seen the movies? The game looks much better than those games. In nba streets you can play in the snow, rain, etc....You can do all kinds of tricks like in ssx. The moves look tight and real, not like that fake spin move in Live 2001.

Check out this movie. This guy shows his dribbling skills in the rain.

It looks good, and those programmers did a wonderful job with SSX, I just hope they make the game have more depth and a lot higher skill requirement than the NBA Jam games. My friends and I love multiplayer sports games and we got NBA Hoopz recently and it\'s the same low-skill, computer assist, crap. Here\'s hoping EA Sports/Big break the mould.

Yeah, I loved NBA Jams when it first came out..  Much more fun than a legitimate game.  That reminds me, is Blitz coming to PS2?

I dunno if Blitz is comming out for the PS2 - I hope not, retire the series before it becomes as stale and putrid as the Jam series. NBA Jam was cool when it came out, but now it\'s old, and little things like the stupid computer assist, and now in Hoopz the fouls (which are stupid - 6 a quarter allowed), and other little naunces make the game fun for 5 minutes and boring afterwards. There\'s only a small skill element to the game, and sometimes the difference between winning and losing is a crapshoot. The samething applies for Blitz which was the sh!t when it came out, but now it\'s just the same stuff over again.

I read DailyRadar\'s preview of NBA Street and it seems promising - ladder matches, bosses - sounds very cool. I hope EA SPorts Big have another hit on their hands.

Ea Sports BIG\'s next game is probably going to be a NFL game, to top nfl blitz.

Oh and this movie is one of the best movies that i have seen. It seems to me like all ea sports games have something to do with doing tricks to get points. Doing tricks in ssx gives you boosts, what does the ticks in NBA Hoops give you, besides points?

Anyways check out this amazing movie.

Perhaps the tricks will give you ratings boosts - like being able to run faster?

Those vids look good, but I hate the way they\'ve got a 21 second total run time, but the the first 5 seconds are the EA Sports logo, and the last 8 seconds are the NBA Street Logo. In short, you download a video and you only get to see 8 seconds of gameplay!

I think you mean ladder tournaments. :D

I was looking forward to a sim-type street game like Live or NBA2k1. But the vids look really good. The video of the real guy dribbling reminds me of some of the streetball games during the summer.

They said they are going to have a lot of real-life street courts and Boston  was listed as one of the cities. I wonder what court they are going to use. i hope it is one of the courts that I have played on. That would be sooo tight.
