Hmm . . .
So basically, no one here has any real clue as to why this is happening, beyond the late friday production theory, given by MM?
Well, I was all set to return the game, when I decided to run it once more, first time today, just so I could get a fresh perspective on how bad it was messing with the console.
Basically, it ran fine today. I mean, it\'s still making the system run a bit harder than my other titles, but its not shake rattling and rolling the dern thing, like it did last night.
Now, it\'s basically running a tiny bit harder than when I play TimeSpliters.
What I mean by this, is the constant vibration caused by the drive motor, while the disk is spinning, not the motions of the drive while its reading data. So, now I\'m not sure what to do. I\'ve been playing it for a few hours, to see if it would start going screwey again, yet it seems to be running fine now. (shrugs)
I don\'t want to think its my system, as I have had zero probs with my other PS2 titles, PSone titles, and DVD\'s. In fact, this is my first complaint with the system, and since I\'ve had it since launch, I know its behavior by now.
As it stands, I\'m going to chock it up to a one time glitch . . .even though its a stretch. If the title continues to run well, I\'ll keep it. If not, then . . .I guess I\'ll exchange it for a new one and go from there.
Anyway, thanks for the help. And, should anyone have somehing to add, feel free.
