Yes it is. Sega made the first 3D fighter, then Namco ganked it. Those *****es.

I Always liked VF. It has simple to use yet deep
gameplay.
Until I had my PS2 I hadn\'t played a Tekken game.
I must say the Tekken characters and overall visual
style are somewhat more original than the VF series,
but now I\'ve played TTT I think Namco should change
the Tekken gameplay cause it\'s getting a bit old.

You can bet Namco will just add in 2 new characters, if you\'re lucky, 2 new sub-bosses, and a slew of clones and count them as new characters. Probably see a lame boss like Ogre.

I\'ll still take Tekken over VF. Sorry, Sega.

Tekken the ultimate fighter? I think not, dude.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Capcom vs SNK, baby!!!
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Don\'t be so hateful Unicorn!!

Namco\'s been a little copy cat for a while.  That\'s a little harsh I guess.  Namco was just keeping up and cashing in on the genre.  Everyone does it....

Sega made VF/ Namco made Tekken/Nintendo made Killer Instinct

Sega made Virtua Cop/ Namco made Time Crisis

Sega made Daytona, Sega Rally/ Namco made Ridge Racer

All though I will hand it to Namco for making the original arcade games like thier Skiing, kayaking, and downhill biking.

Sega is usually the first out the door with most of their ideas.  They\'re just better I guess...;)  just kidding for all those who just got their feelings hurt...

You guys are all wrong...

SOUL CALIBUR OWNZ TEKKEN AND VF!!!!

You know it!

But seriously, VF is just more deep than Tekken. Tekken is basically a button smasher, VF is a game that actually requires thinking. SC is just da bomb!:D

I have to agree with Jumpman here.  I\'m amazed nobody mentioned that sooner.

And what about Bloody Roar 3?  I\'ve never played the originals, but the movies I\'ve seen of it look pretty sweet.

Anywho, between Tekken and VF, I have to go with Tekken.

I should stop overreacting.I am under a lot of pressure lately because of school etc thats why I am acting  so angrily lately.

But hey their gameplay do differ. You cant just say Ridge plays like Daytona or Tekken like VF etc.
Namco copyied Sega\'s move from 2D to 3D only.Saying Tekken is a VF clone does a lot of difference from saying Namco copied Sega\'s  jump into 3D games.
