Revised List of Missed Oldies:
« Reply #31 on: March 09, 2001, 05:35:48 AM »
As I have pointed out earlier, time has eroded my memmory of the good old days and as a result, I\'ve left out some very important people out of the list. Since then, many have pointed out the people worthy of remembrance and I\'ve also remembered a few:

Oyuki
Ryu
Sweetleaf
and that ever excentric cute little rat
OnLineRat aka Ratty, inventor of O_o , the "stoned" smiley
and then there\'s
Spuds
Munchie!

Codemaster would\'ve been on the list too, but his story is much the same as Hawk\'s. Codey\'s most recent post was a 3dfx ass kiss, consistent with his well known 3dfx alignment. (BIG RED FLAG TO ATTRACT CODEMASTER TO POST)

Anyhoo, I thought I\'d move this topic forward, from the recollection of old names, to actual old times.
Does anyone remember the huge "Kick" thread?
(A thread, which I am proud to declare, I started.)

I remember the kick thread.I think I was still a lurker then.Sadly I never looked at it :( not until it had reached like 10 pages but then I was tired and didn\'t feel like reading through all the pages.
I recently discovered that my ass is the key to the universe.....now I must fight to protect my ass from those who might abuse it!!!

Whatever happened to that dapper young man IcebergSlim?
Now he was a legend for the ages. I think that the people of the future will remember him as a titan among men.

Maybe he went to develop a cure for aids.
Maybe he decided to feed the starving children throughout the US.
Maybe he changed his name.

Whatever he did. He is still the greatest poster of all time.

IcebergSlim was the biggest pimp! :D

BTW, the kick thread was silly. Just the biggest pile of spam bait ever invented. Not something I would be proud of. ;)

Hey, anybody remember Akramh?

Where has he gone?

What about Phill?

I think these names weren\'t mentioned in this post earlier so I thought of adding them.

Okuyi or something
Ken
Codemaster
##Racer##
and im sure there are many more

I miss Oyuki too.  I wonder what happened to them, but they left about the same time that Regent Weber left.  Also, Ken can lick my balls.  He was just another one of Don Diego De La Mancha\'s aliases just to piss me off.  He has since been banned, good riddance.  ##Racer## still posts, just not as often, people have and sometimes get, lives ya know? ;)  Codemaster posts conservatively, like maybe once a month.  He has a posts in the off-topic somewhere.  One dollar to anyone who can find it (yah, right).

wtf?  I thought I had been posting MUCH more frequently.  I hang out more in the main forum, but I make my rounds to everywhere.  Hell, just take a look at my "Get Bounced" Bouncer review :)

well, i miss Phil the most, good ol\' Kiwi...he said he might not come back to us until PS2 goes online  :( for shame, for shame

Ryu, geez, never see you around  ;)

mm hardly ever posts, although he occasionally chimes in  with a beauty

Potatocake just got sick of coming here

i miss Waspy, (even though hes stil around) he has good taste in music...just like nO-One has good taste too

ahh, come back Phil, you and me used to be the kings here, together we can take back our thrown (just joking)

i tell you what im nostalgic about, me and Aaron battling it out in the *Kick* topic, that was fun

Well Bobby, I\'m not sure it was much of a battle, as I distinctly remember beating the crap out of you with every post. :)
Those 500 word responses got a bit crazy towards the end didn\'t they? Staying up until 3am just to get the last word in. That was insane.

Ah yes, indeed..... \'Twas unfortunate that Webby had to bring it to an aubrupt end by stabbing me in the heart with a mystic dagger, effectively sending me back the burning hells that spawned me (not copied from Diablo2). Or was that before all the Bobo vs Aaron started... or was the Bobo vs Aaron the catalist for the summoning of me....

Time has indeed eroded my memory of those times, but they were definatley not the times of span. At least not in the kick thread. I remember other spinof\'s trying to emulate the kick thread\'s success, encouraging one line posts to put up the reply count. "Continue the story" the title head would say. And that popular but pointless, "PS2 Countdown!".

It is indeed unfortunate that the original Kick thread did not survive the first server move because of its sheer bulk. I long for the day when we can all see a similar phenomena grip Psx2Central once again.........
