Sony and Sega Sitting in a Tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G !

April the 27th is a very special day for the Playstation 2, why ?

Well thats the Day Crasy Taxi is launched for the PS2 SILLY !

SEGA and Aklaim have come together to deleiver the goods, infact the team has been working on this since JUNE 2000.

But why am i so EXCITED about this ,well for a start when the Dreamcast was launched in the UK i was too poor to buy one

Thats right if i have a full time job back then i would be a proud owner of a Dremacast, but by the time i actually got some money my way i learned ot the PS2.

Anyway to cut a long story short i have been torn between Getting a second hand dreamcast or waiting until they start to convert them games for the PC.

Now thanks to SEGA and Aklaim , thats one less hastle in my life, along with Krasy taxi expect to see.......

and thats just the start .

With Sega gunning to dominate the SOFTWARE market, all i have to say is GO no Sega Go on and get them SEGA my SON ..

yeah the artical i took most of this information was from the Official Playstation 2 Magazine-UK

The interview with Paul Weaver is very intresting.

The Port looks promising and should have the BEST features from the Dreamcast and ARCADE versions.

plus the Dreamcasts Second city to play with too.

It is just a port? The exact same thing? I\'ve already got it on the DC no point in getting it for the PS2 if its the same game with a different controller.

Something is wrong with this picture. Sony reps are still bashing Sega hard when they come by the store. Saying "we sure did finish them off good" and many of the supervisors simply hate them.. This is too good to be true I am still waiting for Segas revenge somewhere along the line. Talk around the shop seems to suggest Sega has something up thier sleeve. We do know they are out for EAs blood.

I also don\'t think Sega is out for EA blood either. I think Sega will just go about there normal business of pumping out quality games.



I think Crazy Taxi blows. Rented it with a DC and was completely sick of it in 3 days

i think i could spend 50 bucks on something better but i cant say it sucks because alot of people like this game

I don\'t see why they wouldn\'t be out for EA blood. EA absolutely HATES Sega and they use every oppurtunity to bash them. I think Sega should try and get some of that sweet revenge.

I want to get it too.  But is it like the DC game or doe\'s it look better.  

I\'ll do what I always do:  Wait for a dozen or so magazines and websites to review the game.  If a good majority of them convey the sense that it\'s worth $50 of my money, then I\'ll probably go out and buy it.

play CT in the arcade, with wheel and footpedal, the best setup IMO

I\'m very excited about Sega bringing their awesome franchises to more powerful systems.   Sega will really start to shine.

Panzer Dragoon, Jet Grind Radio, Sega GT- Xbox

I still want to see where Ecco, NiGHTS, Sonic, Skies of Arcadia, Sega Rally, Daytona, and Phantasy Star end up.  I did read something about Ecco on PS2, it would be a must have for me.  Along with VF4 and SPace Channel 5.

That\'s like me getting excited off of Resident Evil 2 for the Dreamcast.  It\'s just a PSX port with anti-aliasing.  I really don\'t see what the big deal over a Dreamcast PORT is, really.  I bought a PS2 to play original games made for the PS2 instead of dumps from a machine I already have.

Bozco: Anyone who would sell this game, anyone who would buy this game for $50 is out of their friggin\' mind. With the DC version under $20, plus the sequel right around the corner, there is no way a 2+ year old port would be sold at that price.
