as expected we\'d have an overflow of Xbox pics / info here,but i have to say after taking it all in,i\'m not hardly even impressed as i would hope to be. that racer - seen below (notice the jaggies,very ironic )

is not a GT3 killer,sure it throws around a good amount of poly\'s but against GT3 i don\'t see this big polygon advantage...i have to agree with alot of remarks N-Player said because he has valid points. i was expecting a mega leap in graphics,the only thing seen better is slighlty more poly\'s and a few extra textures,but nothing out of the range of what PS2 games are able to do. what everything comes down to is gameplay,so while we\'re shown these pics (nice for what they are) and info,can\'t make up for how the game will play in the end,that\'s what really matters...

...if you can\'t see that Halo looks better than anything PS2 has. And it\'s not even on complete dev kits...

all this talk of imcomplete dev kits really has very little to do with how the games will look overall,it is not going to magically make the games turn into something truly outstanding than what was shown,it will be just a slight improvement only. i do not think Halo looks that much better than what is out currently,i\'d have to see alot more than what i\'ve seen to claim it is superior to any PS2 game out or in development.

NFL FEVER! This game gave madden a run for its money on the PC and did not come out for PC in 2000. They held it back to work on the X-box fever and it shows. I cant wait for this game.

I will say it again there is noway to compare incomplete hardware to final hardware. Becasue in incomplete hardware you can come up with so many things that could be better and in complete hardware there are no excuses.  I think the pic look good for games that only a minimum time of development and are running on incomplete hardware.  I can\'t wait til e3 because after e3 there will be no excuses for ms or nintendo. It will be put up or shut up time for both companies. I kind of figure ms would not show off too much at this show I said if they show us something so wow what would be left for e3.

you\'re right,E3 is the big show,they\'ll have to have something much better than what is out now to make everyone totally impressed with Xbox over PS2. still though,the games presently shown (unless they rewrite the code or change engines) will not change to much in form from how they appear currently,it isn\'t going to happen sorry!

i have not seen some great jump in games since developers got their newest dev kits with the PS2 - what i have seen is developers getting used to the PS2 format

so don\'t expect the big leap to come when the devs get the final dev kits - although the xbox pics look better than PS2 and i will probaly get one too - just don\'t think that the reason you are using is very good - just a rehashed comment people use that are insecure about the Xbox

                          An eagle eyed reader identifying himself as Kahuna emailed CVG to ask why one of the Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding shots featured a static ‘boarder, whilst the ‘speedometer’
                          was reading 51mph. He also suggested the boarder looked ‘cut out’, like he’d been placed on the backdrop as an afterthought. We scratched our chins, but we weren’t sure.
