It looks ok

enviroments look real bland in these shots

Ther\'s alot of FPS coming out, I like an occasional FPS but after Red Faction I\'ll probably have my fill for awhile

The game looks okay (at least better than Timesplitters), but it could be a bit more colorful. Didn\'t Elite Force use the Quake 3-engine? If so, where are the curved surfaces?

But i would like to see a great ST-shooter on PS 2!

This game is very early in progress.
And this is based on the Q3A engine,I can imagine that it\'s hard to port over to the PS.2 since it\'s heavily optimised for the x86 architecture.Especially SSE instructions.

Better than Timesplitters??? Are you insane???? It looks like a slightly cleaned up version of Quake 2 on N64... atm it looks horrible. I\'m sure it could end up looking better then TS, but not right now...

Okay you\'re right (I think i played to much Elite Force on a PC so it remembers me at this version), but the environment is a bit less blocky than the timesplitters-environment. The final game will look at least as good as PS2-version of Q3A.

Is this going to be strictly a FPS or are there going to be some adventure elements.  I think any Star Trek game needs adventure elements or it\'s just not.... well, Star Trek you know?

Just FPS for ST would be against the spirit of it all.  Of course, look at Star Wars.  Somehow they\'ve managed to make 100 games without any great space fighting action... WTF?  When I think of Star Wars I don\'t think of podracing or demolition speed racers, or cruising through the forest on a speeder protecting Ewoks.  I wanna blow up Empire Destroyers and Tie Fighters!

Likely, any Star Trek game that makes you mindlessly cruise around and blow stuff up is simply rediculous.

Well Dolby this is the best Trek game ever.I agree that Star Trek games are usually bad.But this one has action, story and gameplay. All wrapped in a good packige of graphics.
You can just d/l the PC demo (if you have broadband that is) ad try it for your self.
