Are we buying demos?
« on: March 28, 2001, 10:04:53 AM »
When you bought ZOE did you really buy it or buy the MGS2 demo and get ZOE for free?

When you bought RE:CV did you really it or buy the DMC demo and get RE:CV for free?

I don\'t like this.
. I\'ve said it before and I\'ll say it again, in terms of ingenuity, exclusivity, and console competition, X-Box brings nothing to the table except a fat wad of cash and some rehashed PC components wrapped with a DC controller and a plastic black box.----RYU

Either way is cool.

Would you rather get 1 game or 1.2? It\'s all good:)

That is a good point too.  I myself was wondering how many people bought Z.O.E just for the MGS2 demo.  I bought that game because it looks like Virtua ON and that game rules.

I was going to raise the exact same point but I thought that accusing people of buying a full priced demo would get me flamed :)

Uhm.
Well, I bought Z.O.E not for the MGS2 demo, as I hate the MGS series.

And my pre-order on RE:CV X is just because its Capcom.

It would be different if they say, gave away the demo in OPM for example AND put it in with ever copy of ZOE....but Konami knows MGS2 has more hype than episode1 behind it and many will do what ever it takes to play it early...and yes that means pay 50$ for a damn demo.

I have little to no intrest in ZOE, so that is why i just can\'t buy a demo...it\'s not worth 50$..is it?

on the other hand i have yet to play RE:CV plus it comes with another awesome demo for a awesome game(DMC)...so i might get this one...

I knew I was going to buy ZOE before I had any idea the Demo was included.

It seems MGS2 is included in ALL copies of ZOE and not just the first batch as all the preorder heros were saying ;)

I bought ZoE to get ZoE and not the MGS2-demo/-video. I\'m a fan of anime especially mecha-anime so it was a must buy for me.

everyone I know bought it for the MGS2 demo.
Getting ZOE justifies the cost.

When all is said and done...the PS2 will be remembered as the console with the best games in Fall 2001.
