Electronic Gaming Monthly has reported in its May edition that Warhawk is indeed on its way to the PS2 for a makeover!

Let\'s hope this is TRUE!!

It was one of the launch games for PS and was a pretty cool game. It really showed off what the PS could do.

It was indeed a launch title for the PSX waaaaay back in 94 (or was it 95? can\'t remember back that far....) and featured the hottest video game feature to hit the market at the time....Full Motion Video! LOL I remember the one review that actually called the chick in the FMV "rat-faced" which, of course, she was.

If anyone remembers Kreel, the psycho antagonist of WH, he looked just like an old girlfriend\'s father. I couldn\'t look at the guy\'s bald head and bad, bad comb-over without seeing tubes with red slushy running in and out of his cranium!

Anyway, the game blew me off my seat with its graphics and really fun gameplay. It is a true classic, not just for the memories it brings back but also because it is still fun to play to this very day.

I was actually stoked to find out how PS2 would clean this game up and it was the very first game I played on my PS2. It gained no benefit whatsoever, but, it was the least I could do for this great game!

warhawk was the game that made psx stand out over saturn, it was psx\'s first killer app, its first real AAA title

Yup, you are correc, Thugg, but, fortunately EGM is pretty good at getting things correct even when its in rumor form.

Like I said, lets HOPE its true, its great news.

If not, I pick up my sign and stand out in front of the Sony building near my house again!

I wish Incognito would update their webpage. They\'ve got a second title scheduled for Holiday 2001 but we have no clue if that will hold. The genre is listed only as "action/arcade". I\'d like to see a Warhawk sequel, but I wonder if the 2nd title might be a Jet Moto incarnation instead. JM was much more popular with regard to sales than WH ever was. WH2 is long overdue, they need to bring it back!

it took me a while at first but i remember this game now

i kept thinking what everyone was tlaking about - and then it hit me

i think the game is alright - but it was not the greatest

still i wouldn\'t mind waiting to see what they can do with it on the PS2
