This  is a big jump for the PS2 to prove it can handle RTS like AOE. If they can work out the controls I think this game will entertain many. Lots of fun.

But captain what will we do for the pain? You scream for the pain!

He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day.

man, i sure hope they do well on this one, cuz all of these type strat games always flunk on consoles cuz of  the control scheme.
dont get me wrong, i LOVE AOK!!! i have the expansion and i playit every week, it is the best game i have ever seen,IMHO. especially when you get it online.
the whole idea of 8 people building huge empires and massing battles involving hundreds of units is very yummy.
i just hope they get the control scheme right.
note: if you at all interested in medevil strategy warfare, this is the ultimate game for you. it is all historically correct, and not fantasy style strategy (starcraft)
this game is just.......... perfect.
im jumping for joy!
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

it all comes down to control and menu systems

There should be a few Strategy games appearing on the PS2 at the same time. I\'m looking forward to it, but will wait to hear more about it and read a review or 10

I have Age of Kings on my computer and I play it all the time.  Online is a blast too...but I dunno how it would be the same on the ps2 with out a mouse and keyboard, but I will check it out when it releases:D
Myself Lord and Master shall bring disaster to evil factors, demonic chapters shall be captured by kings, through the storms of days after until the earth from the sun through triple darkness to blast ya....

Here\'s some pics :

Looks cool :D ,but I hope they can crank up resolution a bit more though.
I used to play my AOE demo on pc some time. the combination of resource management and battle is nice.
Even though I have to admit I\'ve never been really good at real time stratagy battle, too slow brains of mine I guess... :nut:
