Well I manage to download the movies on my 56 K modem where the Dailyradar\'s FTP maxes it out...
The movies seem ok, I noticed two things which put me off...
1) They are very very dark, even with my PC contrast and brightness set at a high level.
2) The slowdown is noticable and could ruin the whole game. If you didn\'t notice it?!?!? Then check out the second movie where the guy blows some of the cave up, the whole thing slows down for a second or so. This makes me feel that you have to work to enjoy the game to see past the slowdown, and you shouldn\'t need to work to enjoy games, anyway they hopefully should have this sorted but to be honest I don\'t think they will.
Finally the game looks good and all but nothing in terms of graphical splender over half life on the PC.
I don\'t rate graphics over gameplay but thats generally all you can tell from short movie samples.
In short I have a feeling that Red Faction will be dispointing for the PS2 and average for the PC where slowdown shouldn\'t occur on a poweful enough PC. It won\'t show any advancement over the FPS other than being able to blow through walls. Thats just my opinion, I hope its a hit!
