Help with PS2!

I know i hate this console but i bought it and im stuck with it and i cant sell it.My question is Anyone else having a problem with freezing or locking up?Every time i load a game up it freezes.Any help?

it cause you got a defective PS2, all you can do is send it in to the company, the will fix it, but if its after the 90 warranty then your gonna have to pay :), sucks for you

Unscrew the back. REmove the 2nd section of green wires from the left. The red, blue and yellow ones from the right as well. Swich the the Greens with the R,B,Y\'s. Your problem should be fixed.

Hey the first day I got my ps2 I decided to take it apart to see what\'s inside the beautiful machine and I couldn\'t open it like something from inside was pulling the cover down, can you help? I really wanna take a look inside..... (Ever since I was a kid I wanted to take things apart and figure out how they work..... when I was 3 I took apart our VCR without my parents knowing-I wanted to know how it pushes the tape out at the touch of a button.)
