Sony wants you to believe Texture streaming like they have it is the future and you have just been sold down the river bro....

You should have a "Brainwashed by Sony" sticker on your a$$.

M$ wants you to believe that the x-box is the most innovative creation and the best thing made since sliced bread.

You should have a "F\'cked by Billy" sticker on your a**.

Texture streaming is not the future. Sony only say this because such techniques are required on the PS2, not because it\'s better than traditional methods. All methods have their advantages and disadvantages, and Sony\'s PS2 (great as it is) has yet to prove it\'s approach is better than the opposition. If anything, the reverse seems to be true.

MDK2 developers made a big issue of TS in an interview, claiming it solved all their VRAM problems on the PS2. However, although the PS2 version of MDK2 looks great because of TS, most reviewers agree that the DC version looks BETTER!

And let me just add, the PC version loox the best. :)

That said, I\'d just like to pull datamage into line. Though his comments does have its own humerous qualities, it doesn\'t excuse its offensiveness. As well as the presence of the F word, it implies that all who accepts the XBox\'s superiority is a Microsoft lapdog. This simply isn\'t true.

Though not the most innovative thing since sliced bread, the Xbox looks to be the premier console poised to revolutionise the greater landscape of console gaming. With the HDD and the Ethernet adapter being its most unique of features, no other conosle is best suited to spearhead the advance into broadband on-line gaming.

A legitimate arguement against that, would be a great feat indeed.....

Don\'t get the wrong idea Avatarr. My comment was strictly for dwarrior. His time on this forum is spent making sure he trashes the PS2.  My point is that he\'s badmouthing someone for following what Sony says/said when he\'s doing the same thing w/M$. It wasn\'t a general statement for all x-box fans. Hell, I might pick one up.
