I need help, if something is going to happen at 2pm Eastern, and I\'m on Pacific time, what time is that for me? Whats the difference?

3 hours, 2 pm eastern is 11 am pacific/western.

Untill we all switch to "swatch" time that is.  Now that we have global instant communication, the need for time zones is greatly diminished.  It\'s the latest idea, 20 hours day, with 100 minutes per hour, 100 ticks per minute... ya never know, maybe it\'ll catch on in 20 or 30 years, heheheh.

Also there is something wrong with the forum time settings.
I live in a GMT+1 zone,but to get the correct time I have to set the forum time to GMT+7.

I tried setting to eastern time and it is waaay off.......so I set it back to GMT +1 and it is ok what gives?
