I cant believe how sad this is ...
« on: April 18, 2001, 02:56:19 PM »
I called every possible gaming store in my Area ( i live in canada ) and i cant get the av cable cord. Apparently eb and the rest of the canadian stores dont get those type of items from either sony or nintendo so my only option is order from an american site or track down a sony of canada location and go in aand cause a storm. I dont understand why we get the short end of the stick

who would of thought that getting a hold of an offical av cord would be so much work,  tried calling everywhere and i cant order it cuz the credit card is maxed and i dont want to buy it for 24.99 US

Damn, what luck man. Happen to have your old PSX cables handy? (if you even had one) .. I use the same s-video cable w/my PS2 that I used to use with my PSX. I\'m glad Sony kept it that way. If only my TV supported component-video ... :(

well the sony store here near my mall gave me the number for sony parts but i can see that costing even more

i might just write a letter to the president of sony and tell him why we canadian have to deal with this crap and especially me being a share holder

it has zero to do with Sony. Any store can order the necessary parts from distributors.

Just buy it online it\'ll cost the same amount maybe a a few bucks more for shipping, but it shouldn\'t be that big of a deal

I managed to purchase a Sony S-video cable ($45 Can) at my local EB without any hassel. Was it
a Mon. or a Fri. that you called around? Oh, and don\'t bother with the Sony Store, their employees are drunk every day of the week. j/k eh!? Bug your local EB; there is no reason why they can\'t order you one.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

i tried to but the reason they gave me at the hillcrest mall and promanode mall was that, that specific item wasnt on some order list or something so they couldnt order it

basically it was bull**** for me to hang up
