Whats a good multi-player game on ps2

I love playing one player games, but multi-player is where it\'s at. I have all the fighting games TTT, Doa2 and I just got sfex3 last week used at funco. And it kicked  so much  ass to me. I liked it a lot better than TTT and doa2.(Thats just me) I played most all the multi-player fps games-Time splitters, Unreal Tourn- I just thought they sucked. I was told winback was good I think I may go check it out.

Unreal Tournament did suck but Timesplitters was awesome
I heard Winback sucks

TS is a great multiplayer game

SSX is cool for 2 as well

NBA street is coming out soon and that looks liek a 2 player winner

i really like TS, its a game you have to give a go at, ratehr tahn try it for 5 mins and make your decision

i also cant go past 3 - 4 player Tekken Tag, awesome fun

Bozco, I have a feeling that whoever told you that Winback sucks is full of it.

I think at the moment SSX is the best PS2 game but in the multiplayer mode the framerate is very low

I\'ve rented the game for N64; it\'s horrible. Anyone who likes it is a demented idiot. There\'s a few zealots of the game out there, but those in there right mind recognize it as a worthless game.

The PS2 game got 2 out of 5 stars in Next Gen; it was ruthlessly torn up for it\'s terrible AI and controls.

Good multiplayer.. Timesplitters is the only one that comes to mind immediately. SSX is also good.

Yeah i\'ve read basically poor reviews of Winback.

Have you tired any of the EA Sports games, maybe Fifa 2001 ? Although i\'ve heard that ISS is better.

Yeah, ISS is a lot better gameplay than FIFA, its damn annoying in multiplayer when you are teamed with a, shall we say, less than able competitor!

TimeSplitters is by far the best multiplayer game around at the moment, 18 multiplayer maps and tons of options. There probably wont be another decent multiplayer game for a number of months, bar GT3.

What!!!!!!! Me and all my friends love winback. That games kicks some  major booty. And it looks so much better on ps2. Now Timesplitters sucked to me. I just got it. I thought it was going to suck because I searched it on the net. Then my friend rented it on n64 and it kicked ass so I went and got it on ps2. And I love it.

I think it kicks ass.

A big complaint is the control, until you get used to it, but, I think that it is one of the best control schemes ever for a console.  It was a nightmare using shoulder buttons for aiming in earlier games.

Anyway, NHL 2001 and Madden are MUST BUYS for a sports fan, and to make things REALLY chaotic, buy a multitap and go two on two!  That is some serious fun.

Oh yeah, you can have four people in TS too.  

There is 1 good multiplayer game comin out May 22. Its called REd Faction.

Fifa is like an arcade game and ISS is "the real soccer simulator" I find ISS better but the graphic is not so good
