Anyone know anything about final fantasy 7, 8, and 9 being remade 4 ps2

I read in a recent statement (sorry no link) that the graphics will be brought up to PS2 quality.

good because i beat ff7 but never owned it, i was going to buy it last week just to have it.... now i can wait for the "better" version.... i have ff 8, and 9 i may sell the and buy the ps2 versions if theres a big enough difference....

oh yeah....i hope the knights of the round table summon is a little bit easier to get i never did get that damn thing....

Everything will be the same. Even though "Movies are expensive to make" I do believe that Square will be doing a few new movies. I wouldn\'t get my hopes up about the movies though.  They are probebly only redoing the intro.

I realise my first post is misleading. The graphics will be greatly improved. However the story, Summons, ect. . . will be the same.

I would also expect new summon intros. And hopefully a way to bypass the long ones.

ya in my younger years, and dumber years i purchased a N64 im not saying it was totally dumb but psx was obvioulsy 100 times better.  So one summer i begged my friend to let me trade him systems for a week and he said yes.  He has like 60 games all burned( dont tell me im a pirate cause he did all the burning) and on of them was FF7 that pretty much the onlly game i played when i had his system. Man that game is so awesome, i didnt have time to finish it so i though well thats ok i have a ps2 now i\'ll just play it on that........ o wait my friends copy is burned.....! so i thought i would buy a copy and i cant find a friggin copy in my whole city!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been looking for it for so long a rerelease would be so sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dang you can\'t find a copy of FF7 anywhere - it shoud be fairly wasy to find and it only costs 20 bucks

well i would hope they change the movies in them but i doubt they do - it will be weird to watch movies in FFVII where the game looks better than the CGs

well i am kinda picky, i wanna have it brand new out of a store and i live in a city of 250,000 in canada so its not that big.

I  dont think  they would improve the graphics of in game to much would they? in the (anthology?) the only thing they did improve was the cinematics.

In the US, probably at EB (elecronics boutique), the ones here in Canada have them in the bargain section... $30 bucks CDN.

I think I\'ll grab 7, 8 and 9. 7 and 8 I used to have for PSX, but sold them to help pay for my PS2 and 9 I\'ve never played. So I guess I\'ll get all 3.

ill get 9, as i took mine back to get a ps2 game cause my memorie card broke and i had to star again, i might get 7 as i loved thatone it was so sool, i liked 8 but it was not the best, it was the weakest link, good bye

oh yeah....i hope the knights of the round table summon is a little bit easier to get i never did get that damn thing....

...no offense, but thats dumb...it would make the game too easy, and being rewarded with the best summon which can kill any boss (cept the weapons) in one hit...wheres the fun?  which is why square made it so hard to get it in the first place

better graphics uh... great so for FF7 we will have smooth blocky shape characters lol, i am so happy we are gonna get a fresh tast of materia again, sloted weapons, im gonna rape this game when it comes out.
