Me bored, so I\'m making a topic that admiring the forgotten games of the 2000 year. It was another great year for us multiple console owners since we got to experience the awesome titles from each system, but I think everyone was satisfied with last year, honestly. Now lets get on to the questions. (all of this is opinion so forgive my usage of the word "best")

1. What was the best platform game in 2000?

2.What was the best action game in 2000?

3.What was the best RPG in 2000?

4.What was the best strategy game in 2000?

5.What was the best puzzle game in 2000?

6.What was the best sports game in 2000?

7.What was the best third person shooter in 2000?

8.What was the best first person shooter in 2000?

9.What was the best PSX game in the year 2000?

10.What was the best Nintendo 64 game in the year 2000?

11. What was the best Dreamcast game in 2000?

12. What was the best( drumroll) PS2 game in 2000?

13. What was the best PC game in 2000?

14. What was the worst game in 2000?

15. What was the most innovative game in 2000?

16. Now for the one you\'ve all been waiting for... what was the best overall game in 2000?

What? No replies? But this thread is so good compared to all the other ones. I\'m shocked. ;)

Now these are my choices for the games of 2000.

1. Banjo-Tooie(N64): This year wasn\'t really a great year for platforming but I think Banjo-Tooie is by far the most enjoyable platform of the year 2000. Its fun, addictive, and has a lot more reply value than Rayman 2. Its a great game and it got great reviews.

2.RE:CV(DC)- I\'m not much of a RE fan but I thought this game was very good. I\'m not much of an action fan either...

3. Grandia 2( DC)- everything in this game is brilliant. I\'ve been really bored with Square\'s  RPGs lately and I needed something new. Grandia 2 delivered perfectly.

4. I don\'t play strategy games...too boring.

5. Look above and replace the word strategy with puzzle....

6. Tony Hawk 2( DC)- I\'m not much of a sports fan but this game is awesome. It has by far the best soundtrack in a videogame ever and it has a great gameplay system. I can\'t wait for Tony Hawk 3.

7. MDK2(DC)- TPS usually suck but this one is suprisignly great. Its not a game for bad gamers but its definately a must have for shooting fans. Very innovative too...

8. Perfect Dark- despite what some people might say this is truly a magnificant FPS with no equal. Its multiplayer can\'t be touched and it has a great first player mode. Co-op is pretty fun too but the replay value in this game is endless. Me and my friends still play it daily. Besides, there were no other good first person shooters in 2000 anyway...

9. Vagrant Story- although this game has absolutely no replay value it is still a must have for RPG and PSX fans. I loved the story and the gameplay wasn\'t too shabby either.

10. Zelda: Majora\'s Mask- Its a Zelda game! \'Nuff said. It also has some very creative features too that will soon be copied by *insert developer here*. :D

11. Grandia 2- its just an awesome game.

12. SSX- I actually liked this game a lot. It was the only PS2 launch game that I enjoyed and has a lot of replay value. Very good game and totally underrated.

13. Ugh, PC gaming sucks.

14. Anything made by Titus and 989 are in a dead even tie with the other games made by Titus and 989. :laughing:

15. Tie- first game:

Jet Griiiiiiiind Radioooo: I loved this game! Mainly because there has never been a game like it. The gameplay is radically unique and it has a tremendous amount of replay value. There was never a game like this which automatically makes it innovatie.

Second game- Shenmue:

Despite from being extremely crappy, overrated, and boring it is still a very innovative game nontheless. There has also never been a game like this which makes it innovative. The story is pretty interesting so I think I\'ll buy Shenmue 2...

16. And the best game of 2000 is....

Grandia 2!

Yes this game is back again but I really loved this game. Its gameplay is extremely good and it has a very interesting and face-paced story line. Did I mention that this kind of gameplay will definately be copied? I enjoyed this game more than any other 2000 game so it gets my vote as the best game of 2000.

Rayman Revolution, by ease. Large game, atmospherical musics and great graphics.

2.What was the best action game in 2000?
Answer:
Worms Armageddon - if it can be taken as an \'action\' game ( multiplayer/action ). Really funny - beats Timesplitters in the original idea ( or it was once an original idea ).

3.What was the best RPG in 2000?
Answer:
Well, it isn\'t FFIX, as it came out here 2001. So it must be... It must be... I don\'t know!

4.What was the best strategy game in 2000?
Answer:
Red Alert 2

5.What was the best puzzle game in 2000?
Answer:
Lemmings Revolution - great game; the original skills and new graphics

6.What was the best sports game in 2000?
Answer:
It would be Knockout Kings 2000

7.What was the best third person shooter in 2000?

8.What was the best first person shooter in 2000?
Answer:
Timesplitters

9.What was the best PSX game in the year 2000?
Answer:
Tony Hawk\'s Pro Skater 2

10.What was the best Nintendo 64 game in the year 2000?

Answer:
Timesplitters, SSX, or Rayman Revolution

I can\'t remember any REALLY bad one right now...

Sheep actually - at least the idea is new.

Yeah I know but I was hoping that this thread could attract the people who usually write nice long posts. Also, you don\'t have to answer all the questions. Its starting to pick up the pace now...

worms is the best game ever on computer it is so addictive, i would say i have probably put over 1000 hours into that franchise
