I think it looks great too... I\'m just wondering how the new WaveRace will look....

If it looks anything like the tech-demo at Spaceworld then it will easily blow away this game. And NST did say that the final version would easily look as good or better than that...

For anyone who wants to see what real next generation jet ski games SHOULD look like then check out this short movie.

If the real Wave Race 2 looks like that then NGC will be blow away PS2 in terms of power...

Wow Jumpman every goddamn thing to you is all about Nintendo being better. Your entitled to an opinion, but replying to every topic in the main forum and comparing  it to Nintendo is getting old

If Waverace use realtime physic calculations for its water effects and feel then Waverace 2 will be better

You greatly underestimate  the power it takes to create realtime physics.

Graphically Waverace 2 will be better, but  feel of the game do to water acting and responding like water  will get my vote in a heartbeat.

Rainbow Studios ATV :  Offroad Fury was a great game because of the real time physics. This game will more then likely be better cause of that experience Rainbow has with the PS2

And PC gamers should know Rainbow Studios for MM and MM2.  Considering that the MM series is largely considered to be on the top of its league I would imagine that Splashdown will be excellent.

I see you read my sig.

But seriously, I\'ve only been replying on two topics in the main forum lately. That\'s not enough concrete evidence.

Yes but NST(the developer of Wave Race 2) has already had experience with this. The N64 version of Wave Race was knowned for it\'s realistic water physics. It\'s an underrated game. NST knows what their doing with jet ski games, they know that real time water physics are more important than graphics, look at Wave Race 63 for proof!

The developer of Wave Race is a Nintendo second party so there is absolutely no chance of this game appearing on PS2.

:p

Sorry dd, but I have to stop you right there. How can you be against comparing a OBVIOUS carbon-copy rip off to the real deal? Splashdown looks great, and PS2 only people will have fun with it (I will too), but to not compare it to a extremely similar title coming out the same timeframe (I think) is pretty dumb.
