In need of a new game

I desperately need a new game. I\'ve had Madden and Midnight Club since I got my PS2 in late January. I\'m interested in games like Syphon Filter, Tomb Raider, etc. Which game out there would I most likely enjoy? I can\'t wait till August when Silent Hill comes out. So any suggestions would be helpful.

best to save up your money for the kick @ss games coming out in later the year.

I think Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix is pretty cool even though it\'s a PSX game.  Better than Tomb Raider.

You mean now games that is out?  If I was you, wait till Red Faction is out. It should be around 1 more week to go.  Or if you need it now, since you have Madden 2001 get NBA 2001. It\'s a great game.  :D

Well if you\'re looking for a pure adventure title, then I hear Shadow of Desitiny is pretty good.. if a bit weird. Monkey Island 4 is also supposed to be out sometime this spring.  Action/Adventure titles like SH are just about as hard to come by. I think AitD:4 The new nightmare is supposed to be out by this summer at the latest and Onimuisha has been getting great reviews even if it is a bit short.
