Have you heard about the new previews on PSX2Central?

Silent Hill 2
ATV Offroad Fury
MDK2: Armageddon
Rayman Revolution
Twisted Metal: Black
Smuggler\'s Run
Q-Ball: Billiards Master
ESPN Track&Field
DOA2


I hear Track and Field is going to be awesome.  It comes out Oct 26th, 2000.  I don\'t know if I am going to buy T&F or Smuggler\'s Run though.  It\'s a toss up, but I have till October to figure it out.

Yeah, I have brought it up many times before.  Especially when they added Unknown and a few others to the Main page mix as contributors.  I just think that any new person logging on to this website would look at the first page like, what a freaking joke!!!  This page blows.  Only until they get into the forum do they see why we are here.  

Don\'t get me wrong, the news is fine, but the previews just look stupid.

Well, in a small bit of defense. If a preview is posted of a game. Two months later the game comes out and we post a review of it. Shall we then delete the preview?

Since the previews aren\'t updated very often the last ones added are pretty old, still they are the most recently added previews and will show up on the main page. Yet we have reviews for the games posted.

But I get the point.

I\'m gonna scrap the whole Preview section (since it looks bad to have section that is not updated regulary) , when I get the time to take it away :)

But as it is now I don\'t have any time at all to mess with the page.

I\'ll fix it up some during the summer :)

can\'t you just tranfer the preview to the review section and just add on to it when a game is released

or hck why don\'t you hire someone to do the preview/review section for you

Heh?! Then what would happen to the original Preview?  I still check them out on some sites to compare how Preview and Review measured up to each other...

That\'s unfortunate...  How many times do folks post in here that they are hunting for websites that offer good previews & expected release dates, etc.  This is PSX2CENTRAL for a reason...right???  Now, I can FULLY appreciate that I might be talking out of the wrong side of my ar$$ (as I don\'t manage/maintain any website myself...and certainly not one that is moderated as well as this site is)...but really enjoying this site as I do, I have to desire MORE, not less, offerings as time goes by.  Bjorn, I can appreciate that this site takes time, game previews take time (heck, even access to previews, etc., can be a chore/impossibility), but isn\'t there even an opportunity to -- properly giving credit to deserving websites, etc. -- post Previews on this site even though they are from other sites???  At least in this manner (if it is unfathomable that we have pre/reviewers working directly FOR this site) PSX2Central could offer fans a full library of gaming information...  Just curious...

Nice to see The Boss around :)

Scraping the Preview section,is a good idea since there aren\'t any people here that can really approach a game before it\'s released :(

But it would be nice to have a list of upcoming games and even release date,instead of a whole preview of the game :)

Yeah, if it\'s not going to be updated, I would just delete it.  Hate to see it go, but it\'s pretty useless if it\'s not updated.  Plus it makes the main screen look old and out dated.

well video when you say new people look at the first page and say "this site blows..." do you refer to my news post blow? or the previews, cause I don\'t even do the previews, that it bjorns job. I try to update as much as possible, not to brage but with all the 6 peep they hired to post news, I post the most! i havent seen a post from ryu, the one billy gun, animal mother, jeep n rock, eviseration x, etc. in ages, iv done it all, i update the main page almost every day, I already post all the E3 news that has been released, so i honestly think i do a good job. hey i do it for yuo guys, so i hope you dont mean what i think you mean
