Poor, poor Xbox

The future looks grim for the xbox IMO

With the PS2 games looking so good at E3 and nintendo announcing the Gamecube will launch 3 days before the Xbox in the US on 5 November

I think Xbox will do well

I doubt they\'ll win the console war but even SOny with the PSX took almost 2 years before it really started to take off

I\'m impressed with XBox\'s visuals just not enough variety of games to get me overly excited,

I need MPEG movies cause .mov\'s don\'t run on my PC here at work to judge a few Xbox games

If you would OPEN your eyes like I have seen nearly everyone else on here do, you would realize that X-Box is going to be GOOD, VERY good.

The pros far exceed the cons here bud, and X-Box has those shiny graphics that can sell a console in America like THAT.

no doubt the Xbox will do well, but as you pointed out,it will only be a big seller in AMERICA,period. it will not top GC or PS2 worldwide,i guarantee it!

That is unless they shovel money towards Konami and Square and Sega to be exclusive. That would take quite a big shovel, but would obviously ensure the death blow on all other systems.

yea i think the Xbox has really shown what its capable of but there is something am cuirous about and if someone could answer it

I know the PS2 will not show all its power because of the learning curve of the development

but since the Xbox is easier to develop for will they be able to pull out all its power early on?

this is just something running through my mind

Im not saying the Xbox is a bad machine. I know it\'s the most powerful out there, but I dont think it\'s going to sell as well as PS2 and GC IMO.

PS2 already has a huge head start and GC has got all it\'s loyal nintendo fans. I just think it\'s going to be hard for them.

The Xbox, to me, looks very impressive...but i\'m sorry NO FFX, NO BUY!!.

Like you guys said, it will do well in America but the rest of the world will most probably reject it.  Look at what happened in Japan when the people saw it.

Like the Playstation slogan says, "Don\'t underestimate the power of Playstation", I think the same should be said of the Gamecube.  Why are Nintendo so calm about everything?...The calm before the storm??...I wonder.
A word of advice:

Tell ya the truth, I dont play Konami or Square games. Havent played a good Konami game since SOTN IMO. But they do sell games, and if X-Box can get them on their side, bye bye to all other consoles. Just dont count on me picking the games up.

Only do good in America? I think it will do great everywhere but Japan. And they can get by in Japan like N64 did, relying on the other 2 markets.
